Dwelling in the Secret Place is a prayer time where people come to soak in His presence. Psalm 91:1 says that when we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, we abide under His shadow. This is constantly living in the presence of God. This prayer time will change the way you pray. Man needs intimate communion with his divine Master.

Moses said, “If you (God) don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place.  How will anyone know that you look favorably on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.”  The Lord replied to Moses, “I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name.” Moses responded, “Then show me your glorious presence.”   Ex 33:15-18 (NLT). It is the place of absolute and unceasing dependence upon God.

THE SECRET PLACE

Do you have the desire to embark on the spiritual journey into the tabernacle of worship and capture the fresh and unique time in the Holy of Holies? Dwelling in the Secret place is that place for you.  Tabernacle means “tent,” “place of dwelling” or “sanctuary.”

It was a sacred place where God chose to meet with His people“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.’ ” (Rev. 21:3).

THE HOLY OF HOLIES

The Holy of Holies is God’s dwelling place, to which we have access now through Christ. Our aim is to enter and wait upon the Lord as the Holy Spirit  takes control in prayer.  Job 32:8 (NLT) But there is a spirit within people, the breath of the Almighty within them. When you enter the Holy of Holies, your life will never be the same again.

It is the presence of God, in Christ by His Holy Spirit who makes Himself  known to us, and keeps the soul under its covering and shadow, that will waken and strengthen the true waiting spirit. In the Secret Place we will be still and wait and worship until we know how near He is, and then say, “On Thee do I wait. This will imply sacrifice and separation, a soul entirely given up to God as its all. This is a life made of continual abiding in His presence; nothing less ought to satisfy than to be ever breathing this blessed atmosphere in the Secret Place.

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him,
Those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the land.”

(Psalm 37:7,9)
